| The Spotlight of Truth by MARK WATKINS Thursday September 10, 1998 Ken Starr's report to Congress must be a humdinger. President Clinton and his minions are preparing for "a desperate impeachment battle," according to ABC News. Bill Clinton has been followed, hounded, outmaneuvered and now, finally, cornered. There is no escape; there is no retreat. The spotlight of Truth has at last settled on a coward and found him squirming, cowering, begging for mercy and at length, crying. |

There is no more damnable place on this Earth for William Jefferson Clinton, this dark and unforgiving place, where Truth defeats Lies. And he hates it with all his being. But he has been here before and he knows what to do. He feigns remorse, pleads for another chance and diverts attention. He has done this time and time again, with remarkable success. But the spotlight of Truth owes allegiance to no one. It cannot be denied, hidden, spun, reworded or camouflaged. Clinton and his minions will try. They will use every means possible. It will not work. Even Bill Clinton cannot outrun light. |
