of laurel,heath,and evergreen
of meadowsful of meadowlark
of moderate divine extreme
wild chicory in golden field
and queen-anne's-lace in clovered lea
and plains of daisies,fluttering
still is the sound
still is the sound
of sunup,on the mountaintop
of hillside children's luxury
red and sweet,of nectar fed
of butterfly and hummingbird
still is the sound
still is the sound
and of the summer,he was borne
and of the golden mean
of the hillside,he was spawn
of bless'd divine extreme
he lives amongst the flowered field
amongst the clovered lea
amongst the cyanned aviary
a child of gold and open air
rising with dawn from the ground
